The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight-round fight which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua declared he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants confronted each other to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world boxing king Anthony Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive uneven pairing - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Mentality
"I will damage his features and break his body up. I'm here to prove I'm the better fighter," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's a fighter's mentality.
"I will really want to cause him pain. That's my intention."
Respectful Interaction
Despite such comments, a calm Anthony Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally famous for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and called him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a match opportunity.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK opponent Tyson Fury - and refused a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Tyson Fury - he's present here," Joshua said.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of declaring he will punish Paul, Anthony Joshua refused to speak negatively about his rival's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a credible opponent," he remarked.
Jake Paul's Background
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mainly boxed mixed martial artists or declining opponents since becoming pro.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.
Commercial Attraction
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer remains one of boxing's largest money-making draws, consistently making substantial financial rewards.
Forecast and Belief
The 28 year old anticipated a knockout win in round four or five and asserted he would prevent the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Paul declared.
Physical Disparity
As both boxers met for the customary stare-down, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how improbable this whole event is - and how amazing it is that the match is actually going ahead.
